I still say Varitek isn't helping his team at all. I think the Red Sox would be better off by having somebody else catch... he just isn't hitting the ball anymore :(

No waaaaaay. He is the captain, one of the best defensive catchers there is. He may not hit good, but the Red Sox can deal with that if he can just keep being the clubhouse leader and a great catcher.
