Hello Readers!!!

Hello, I am one of the authors who will be contributing to the blog. Y'all can call me James or JTrip. I will focus on the whole MLB and the great baseball sims Out of the Park 9 and Baseball Mogul '09. Some of you who come from the Sports Mogul forums may know me, as my user name there is RedsoxRockies. Yes, I am a Red Sox/Rockies fan on a Mariners blog, but I have always liked the Mariners, even though Bavasi made a mess like no other. I hope you all enjoy my posts, and that they contribute to making this the greatest Mariners/MLB/Baseball Mogul Blog on earth. As for BoomBoom, I have to disagree on your grades for the games. I would give:

Baseball Mogul: B+
OOTP: B-

Baseball Simulation

Hello all once again.

Since the baseball season is in the dumper now. I wanted to tell you guys about two games I have had countless hours of fun.

First off is Baseball 09, it was just released in April. In its 10 version of the game. It is one of the easiest games to play. It does have some bugs thou, but they are manageable. The game is very fun, and the fun aspect has me playing this game a lot more than OOTP. There are many issues with the game, Y4 problem, ect...
Game Score: C+

The second game is probably the best game ever produced in this genre. Out of the Park Baseball version 9, is now out. And was just released in June. It is the most realistic sim on the market. 40 man rosters, waivers, flexible 25 man rosters. Real roster rules. A better financial system than in the past. And the ability to hire/fire managers, coaches and you can even be fired as well. I find this game a lot of fun. The only downside is that it is too detailed :)
