Jarrod Washburn pitched 8 strong innings in a 5-1 game in Toronto. Washburn put a hault to the Mariners 7 game losing streak. Washburn who is reported to be on his way to New York, pitched in perhaps the last time he will wear a Mariner Uniform. Washburn has pitched brillant since May and has really upped his trade value.
